Sometimes you just need to be away from home because it’s the only way to give yourself permission to truly relax. A weekend retreat is just the right amount of time to provide you with the space to listen to your body, rest when you need it, and be free from stress, but not have to be away from home for too long. And because it’s at Aryaloka in Newmarket, NH, all you need to do to get there is jump in the car at about 5 o’clock!
Spend the weekend with like-minded individuals practicing yoga in all its forms including the postures, breathing, meditation, yoga nidra, and cooking and eating together and as family. Because we understand that everyone is different when it comes to how much socializing is a good thing, we’ve chosen Aryaloka Buddhist Center where there are plenty of quiet nooks for quiet refection as well as a comfortable common area for socializing.
Our healthy, whole food meals will be vegetarian. We will prepare and enjoy them together as a group. You will sign up for your “meal chores” for the weekend Friday evening. Please let us know when you register if you have any allergies or dietary preferences.
Aryaloka Buddhist Center is a quiet and peaceful oasis located in Newmarket, New Hampshire, just a half hour drive from Yoga in ME. We are honored to be granted permission to use this special space for our retreat. 7pm – Light Yoga Posture Practice
8pm –Yoga Nidra
Saturday
6am – Meditation followed by yoga posture practice.
10am – Brunch
Noon – Quiet Time for napping, writing, reading, walking meditation, etc…
2pm – Pranayama (breathing)
3pm – Discussion (or group selected activity)
5pm – Dinner prep and dinner
7pm – TBD
Sunday
6am – Meditation followed by yoga posture practice.
10am – Brunch
Noon – Closing Circle
