1 in 5 children struggle with food insecurity in the U.S.
End 68 Hours of Hunger is a private, not-for-profit, effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school Monday.
Everyone is Welcome!
Come for a few minutes or a few hours. You are welcome to join us for as many meditation sessions as you like. You may come to the studio and meditate, or even join us remotely for the meditation sessions. We will be broadcasting this event live on our Facebook Page.
How It Will Work
There will be 30 minute sessions starting every hour and half hour. Each session will be different depending on the facilitator. Some might be 20 minutes of guided meditation followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation. Others might be 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra.
You can choose to sit in a chair, on the floor, or even stand.
There is no minimum amount of sitting time required. You can come and go as you please.
We request that all participants maintain silence throughout the entire event. Plan to arrive in silence and keep it throughout.
Light refreshments will be available.
