Here are something for New Students to keep in mind.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step,
And so, our yoga class begins with our first class.
Coming to your first class is harder than taking it.

Having to support of other students will help you to get though
your first class.

Please write to YiM@yogainme.com for information on how to join.
An auto-response will be sent to you with questions you need to answer.
First class will be set, then location page will be sent to you.
Please do not plan on attending the studio the same day as your first email.
The process may take a couple of days...


We always welcome new students of all levels to the studio;

here are a few guidelines to help you.

*Have fun and ask questions! The teacher are here to help you!

* Please allow plenty of time to find the studio for your first class. This will helpful
make your class more enjoyable. Arrive at the studio door about 5 minute
before class to check in and take care of payment arrangements before class.
Latecomers disturb the entire class. Payments are CASH only.

* Set yourself and your mat in center of back row.

* Please do not wear perfume or cologne.

* Please do not wear your shoes into the Studio. Wear loose comfortable clothing
with bare feet.

* ABSOLUTELY no cell-phones, pagers or beeping watches are allowed in the class.
Please leave them in the storage area, at home or in your car.

* Practice on an empty stomach.

* Please inform the teacher before class if you have any injuries or illnesses.

* If you sweat, be sure to bring your own towel or practice rug to absorb sweat.

* Pick up after yourself. If you borrow props and or mats, please return them to
where you found them.

* Regular practice is necessary to receive the full benefits of yoga. Twice a week or more is recommended.

* Inform the teacher if you are pregnant. Practice should always be done under the
supervision of a physician.

* Inversions are generally not recommended during the menstrual cycle as they
reverse the flow of energy.

* If you plan on practicing yoga regularly, we highly recommend that you purchase
your own mat for sanitary reasons. Mats are available for purchase at the studio.

* If you are sore the next day, that is normal, just kept practicing, this is your body
awakening.

* Give yourself 6 to 8 classes before you start feeling comfortable with the practice.

New Students should place themself to the back of the room
for your first few classes.
